I joined the Letai lab in July 2016 after completing my B.A. in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Harvard. I work as a technician with Patrick Bhola, using high-throughput BH3 profiling techniques to try and find novel chemical combinations that increase the susceptibility of cancer cells for apoptosis. In the near future, I hope to pursue a PhD, and am interested in promoting scientific education in children, especially girls, from developing countries. I'm originally from a tiny town called Hazro in Pakistan, but Boston has become my second home. Life outside the lab for me revolves around good music, cricket (#180runs), soccer, and South Asian food.
